I am a 30-year-old male, and I can say this item would be great for ANY guy of ANY age. The top area works great for small, medium, AND large-faced watches. Personally I like to take a watch off, latch the watch shut, place one of the mini stuffed pillows inside the band, then put it into it's spot. Doing it this way is quick, painless, and looks very nice through the clear top (it's plastic, not glass). I keep my jeweled bracelet in the top area as well. The pillows set right into each spot, so you can simply remove them if you need some extra storage spaces on top for other items. Also, if you have a quartz watch with louder ticks (like a Timex Weekender), having it in the case will reduce or eliminate the sound.The bottom drawer is even more useful. There are two larger storage areas (one on each end) which are great for storing larger items such as bracelets, zippo lighters, money clips, and all those extra buttons you have lying around. The center area has two different sections. The top section has slits that are very convenient for your small items such as rings, watch links, ear rings, and cuff links. The slits hold these items firmly in place so they don't move or shift when opening or closing the drawer. The bottom section has open grooves that resemble mini half pipes for your medium-sized items such as tie clips and collar stays.If you know a guy with a few watches and some of the items I mentioned above, buy him one of these. Then down the road you can buy him some things to fill it up with!
