The watch is as attractive as it looks on the site, and the wood is very pretty. (I even got a compliment on it at a jewelry store I went to, to try to have links removed from the band). The band is thicker than normal - I couldn't remove the links myself as I have on some other watches, and the first few places I took it to couldn't. The *second* Dakota watch retailer I took it to could, with no apparent problem. The women's model is extremely large. One more link removed from the band probably would have made it too tight. When it falls down on my wrist toward my hand, it kind of blocks my wrist movement, because it is so large and wide.Lots of compliments
